A Wedding Planner’s Wedding #3: The 40-something hen! In the third instalment of my blog series as an experienced wedding planner planning my own wedding, I’m asking myself what works when you’re a 40-something hen…? I only managed to read the first two hits from Google’s helpful suggestions before I was compelled to make myself an […]
A Wedding Planner’s Wedding #2: Where, When, Who? In the second instalment of my blog series as an experienced wedding planner planning my own wedding, I have to ask myself exactly the same questions I pose to my clients. Where Before even choosing your venue and getting into a google maps plotting frenzy, think about any […]
A Wedding Planner’s Wedding My first thoughts, “Wow I’m getting married,’ and always being the wedding planner, I’ve never experienced it from this side. I decided to document the stages of my wedding planning as many of my friends, family and clients have suggested that “it’ll be a walk in the park organising your day”, […]
I have recently been looking for luxury bridal party sleepwear on behalf of a client. When I sat down at the computer ready to search the internet I hit a stumbling block trying to find a UK based company. For example online boutique Pretty Plum Sugar based in the Unit…
Mango Pie: Event Week 12th – 15th July!
Here at Mango Pie we have spent the majority of June arming ourselves to battle a hectic event week mid-July. A week that saw us running events around London back to back!
Tuesday 12th July –
The week kicked off with the Clyde & Co drinks reception at the National Portrait Gallery. One of our favorite venues to work with, the event went off without a hitch. Comforting pink tones were used to light the gallery, sharpened with the crisp yellow linen collaboration. Block colours are hugely popular this season, bringing vibrancy and life to gallery spaces. Nicky Doodson created bright floral arrangements filled with large blooms and foliage.
We were invited to attend the Hidden Garden Festival showcase at Hampton Court Palace put on by the Historic Royal Palace events team.
The evening was to launch the new 20th Century Garden event space, a great outside venue option perfect for summer parties and events. The secret garden, which can hold up to 600 people, is separated from the main grounds by a newly added quaint bridge. Beautiful ornamental trees and hedges have been planted to create a peaceful and tranquil ambience. The space is now available to hire for either daytime or evening events.
If you are looking for a unique venue to host a corporate or private event we have listed five quirky and slightly out of the ordinary venue options that would make your event unforgettable.
Mango Pie had the privilege to design the preview dinner for the Vogue 100: A Century of Style Exhibition at The National Portrait Gallery. Vogue 100 showcases an impressive collection of photography that has been commissioned by British Vogue since it was founded in 1916.
Christmas explodes in the Mango Pie office usually resulting in it looking like Santa’s grotto. Ballballs, fairy lights and decorations are strewn accorss the office floor with glitter everwhere!
We are jumping on the social media bandwagon and this year we created our very first Vlog. Our vision was to create two seperate Christmas table designs that you can easily recreate at home. We teamed up with our trusted florist Nicky Doodson to help create some opulent and luxurious floral arrangements.
