Corporate Events: LGBT Networking Reception 2017

2017 was a big year for LGBT and for event planners across London. It was this law firm’s 10th anniversary of their LGBT network which also coincided with 50th anniversary since it stopped being illegal for two men to be in a relationship in England and Wales. A hugely significant and landmark year, and one which was worth celebrating with a splash. The key sponsor was FFLAG Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, a national voluntary organisation and charity dedicated to supporting parents and their lesbian, gay, bisexual and Trans sons and daughters. FFLAG offers support to local parent groups to help parents and families understand, accept and support their lesbian, gay and bisexual members who may face serious homophobia in our society, which often brings in its wake prejudice, alienation and bullying. With all that in mind, we decided to focus on the exuberance of Pride over the past 50 years and, in the stunning space in the National Portrait Gallery were given the freedom to go wild with our rainbow-themed design and celebrations – and as you can see, we did!
