When looking at London venues for hire, how about an Historic Royal Palace? After all a VIP dinner calls for a VIP venue! The Banqueting House, Whitehall, is the grandest and best known ancient banqueting house in London (dare we say the world…?), designed by world-renowned architect Inigo Jones, and is the only remaining part of the historic Palace of Whitehall. Today, the beauty and scale of this most prestigious of London venues for hire continues to inspire guests, just as it did for the kings, queens and courtiers who have banqueted and celebrated here since 1622. Banqueting House is in a absolutely superb central London location, situated on Whitehall, yards from Trafalgar Square and that iconic London landmark, Nelson’s Column. The Rubens Room (named after the great ceiling masterpiece) holds up to 380 guests for dinners, conferences or awards ceremonies and Banqueting House is also a dazzling venue for a wedding reception. We’ve laid on some amazing events in this stunning space, including a dinner where the table tops were mirrored to make the most of the masterpiece above the dinner’s heads. We love the intimate space of the Undercroft too, originally designed as a drinking den for James I and a place where he escaped the rigours of public life with his favourite courtiers. We’ve worked at this incredible venue for many years so please contact us to find out how we can design and manage an unforgettable event at this unforgettable venue!
