Event Management Portfolio: Dinner at The Banqueting House, Whitehall, London

Event management is a total  joy in an historic and beautiful building like this! The Banqueting House in London is like no other venue we work with. It was designed to host the most extravagant masques in the 15th century during the reign of James I and every event hosted here is automatically injected with the building’s incredible historic grandeur. Add to that the astonishing ceiling which was painted by Peter Paul Rubens in 1623 and you have a truly incredible event space. Mango Pie has organised several memorable dinners in this iconic space, including one where we designed the table tops to be fully mirrored, enabling the guests to really appreciate the Old Master above their heads without craning their necks while eating! The guests absolutely loved the concept and the reflections of Rubens astonishing work highlighting every table in the room was really stunning. We couldn’t believe no-one had thought of it before! If you’re looking for a venue with more than a touch of grandeur, contact us to find out how we could plan and manage an unforgettable event for you in this historic and incredible space.
